Dr. Ashby attended medical school at Cornell University and completed his internship and residency at Columbia University Medical Center, where he was also assistant professor in the Department of Medicine.

He completed his Cardiology fellowship at The George Washington University Medical Center, where he was named chief fellow.

He earned his Master’s in Health Policy at Princeton University. Dr. Ashby also completed a postdoctoral clinical and research fellowship in vascular medicine at Johns Hopkins University.

He served as the director of Vascular Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center prior to founding CVC Medicine.
